Directions:  Take St. Rt. 52 out of Cincinnati towards New Richmond.  Pass through New Richmond and Point Pleasant.   Upon entering the Village of Moscow start looking towards the left for Moscow Cemetery.  Make a left on Moscow Cemetery Road.  Easy access.
 
Pictures and inscriptions taken by Margie & Bud Thomas, CCGS members, during the fall of 2006.  Pictures are not included for all inscriptions.  She obtained inscription information from funeral records, death records and cemetery stones. Margie has made the following notations:
 
At the Clermont County Recorders office in Batavia – Book 0-3-pgs.439-440 in part, it reads, 1852 – George Scott sold land to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church:  Jacob Gill, John Holland, Benjamin P. Thrasher, A.J. Shelby and James McMath.  Survey #1653.  The first burial listed in the DAR’s Monument Inscriptions Prior to 1900, Section 10, pgs. 20-28 were:  Edward Scott, 1831 and James Johnston, 1850.
 
In the Court of Common Pleas – Case #80-CV-0667, Ohio Revised Code, S 517-27, in Dec 1980 to the Board of Washington Township Trustees, John McDoyle: The right of way to said burying grounds to go to the said burying grounds immediately on the north side of the NW corner or on the south side of the grantor’s SW corner but not to interfere  with any of the ridge the full width of the lot of said conveyor to the full fall way down the drain or ravine until coming to the west line a few poles from SW corner of said conveyor and he has a right by this conveyance by setting a gate where said fence may cross said road also road for passing and repassing of George Scott, his heirs and assigns.
