Fridman Cemetery
(Stonelick Twp.)
Creekwood Road
New Richmond, Ohio USA
PRIVATE Cemetery on farm of Viola F. Reese & Caroline Fridman
Sisters, who are granddaughters of Franklin Fridman who bought the land in 1839, their address: New Richmond, Route 2. It is located in an almost inaccessible spot. To get there – go as far as you can drive back Boat Run Road in Monroe Township, go past two houses and ford a creek; about the distance of one city block past the creek there is a gap in an old stone fence; it is about another block from the gap to the steep wooded cliff where he is buried. We tried to mark the spot with a white rag tied to the overhanging wild cherry tree with a huge wild grapevine growing in it. The stone is down and broken, very hard to find, and the only in the plot. Copied by Miss Caroline Fridman and Mrs. W. Earle Johnson.

JOHN DENNIS – died June 8, 1850 – aged 88y 9m 9d – A Revolutionary War Soldier died in hope of immortality. – (Private, New Jersey Militia)

(Note: P.S. (my thoughts) – The reason he is buried there would be because it is the back of the Barkley Farm on another road. John Dennis had a

daughter who married a Barkley.)
