Pictures and inscriptions taken by Pamela Smith, CCGS trustee, in the summer of  2010.  The cemetery is in excellent shape.  Only one stone could not be found out of 1200 that were seen in 1950.  This is so very rare.  A lot of the stones were written in German or in German alphabet or script.  I spent a lot of time trying to decipher some of the stones to decide on a K, R or Z within the engraved inscription.  I changed some of the previous recorded records after researching the families of the area. The Clermont County Genealogical Society has published the inscriptions in booklet form and can be purchased directly from them.  It was a wonderful way to spend the drought ridden summer in such a beautiful place.
