Benefits of Membership
  • Receive the quarterly CCGS newsletter.
  • Access to the Members Only area of the website which includes online genealogical reference items only available to members
  • Qualify to apply to CCGS Lineage Societies: First Families (before 1821), Settlers and Builders (1821-1860), and Century Families (1861 to 100 years ago). Separate application fee required.
  • Submit Surnames: If others are researching your surnames they can contact you anonymously through the CCGS website

The membership year is the calendar year. Dues are payable by January 1 and delinquent on February 1.

New members joining before September 1 receive all paper issues of CCGS quarterly newsletter (published in Feb, May, Aug, Nov) for that year (except E-Members, who have online access in the membership section of the CCGS website). New members joining after September 1 receive only the Nov issue, but their membership will be for both the current year and the next calendar year.
